Landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) for a proposed 5MW solar photo-voltaic (PV) park in North Devon.
As part of the assessment process, involvement in the early stages of design was important in reducing the potential impacts and effects on landscape relevant designations, landscape character and visual amenity receptors (people) and their views.
In addition, measures such as new planting was proposed to reduce any potential effects.
This proposed development was given planning permission in October 2013.
