Landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) for a proposed 500kW single wind turbine, 79m to blade tip.
A non-EIA development, the LVIA covered a 11km radius study area. A 10km radius study area was initially proposed. During the screening exercise, West Devon Borough Council requested that to consider the views from as well as the indirect effects on the setting of Dartmoor National Park, approximately 10.3km away, an extended study area should be used.
To accommodate this request, the study area was extended to ensure that the indirect effects on Dartmoor National Park formed an essential part of the LVIA.
