Landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) for a proposed 500kW single wind turbine, 62m to blade tip.
The LVIA covered a 10km radius study area and 9 viewpoints, all of which were interpreted as photomontages, were used to inform the assessment.
Following Cornwall Council’s guidance on the assessment of wind energy schemes as well as reference to their landscape character assessment and landscape sensitivity assessment was critical to create the correct methodology and approach to the LVIA.
