Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
A landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) was produced for a proposed single 500kW wind turbine in South Wales.
Following relevant guidance, the comprehensive LVIA included extensive analysis of the potential impacts and effects on landscape character, including LANDMAP aspect areas, landscape relevant designations and visual amenity receptors and their views.
In addition, numerous photomontages were produced to illustrate the potential impacts of the proposed development, including any cumulative influence as a result of the addition of the proposed development.
The proposed wind turbine was granted planning permission.
