Amalgam Landscape were commissioned by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) to provide guidance on seascape and landscape assessment to support licensing staff to implement marine planning and to make determinations on applications.
The aim was to provide a best practice guidance document in line with MMO styles and procedures.
The guidance document was in the form of an easy to understand ‘desk note’ backed up by a more technical background report. In addition, training was also provided to MMO staff to promote understanding of the seascape and landscape
